A TRIAL has collapsed after a young man instead pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child.
Zeth Goldstone, 22, was due to stand trial at Oxford Crown Court on Monday (March 25) charged with attempted sexual communication with a child and sexual activity with a child in January 2021.
It was heard the victim is aged 14-years-old.

However, instead of the trial going ahead, Goldstone pleaded guilty to both counts.
The Crown Prosecution accepted his pleas and the case has been adjourned for sentencing.
Goldstone, of Great Western Road, Didcot, will now be due back in the same court for sentence on April 22.
He has been granted bail until the hearing next month.
