A WANTAGE man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman in Oxford.
Govan Ismaili, 27, stood trial at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (March 20) charged with one count of sexual assault on a female.

Ismaili denied the count but was found guilty of intentionally touching a woman aged 16 or over and the touching was sexual and she did not consent and he did not believe she was consenting on September 8, 2022 in Oxford.
The case has now been adjourned for sentencing which will take place at the same court on April 10 at 2pm.
It was heard the trial was supposed to take place last month but was adjourned for a Kurdish language interpreter to attend court.
