A Didcot taekwondo team has enjoyed widespread success at the 2024 English Championships.

The team competed against more than 400 martial artists from the UK, Spain and Ireland.

Schoolgirl Grace Miller secured double gold in what was her last tournament before entering the junior category.

Bartlomiej Storms replicated her teammates triumph by claiming two golds in the yellow belt patterns and sparring divisions.

Mother and son, Lisa-Marie and Lucas Betteridge, won silver in their respective patterns divisions.

Mr Betteridge also won silver in the junior black belt sparring.

Both Esmé Hammond and Alfie Busby brought home a bronze medal each in child blue belt sparring.

First-timers Omri Wolchinsky and Maximus Low Blair took to the mats but didn't secure any medals after getting through their first sparring rounds.

Their teammates Hristo Bahchevanski and Ava Gunning also returned with no medals.
