An Ukrainian English teacher will be giving a talk to share what lessons are like in the county during its war with Russia.
The Oxford-Kharkiv Association has arranged the online talk by Inna Larchenkova about "Teaching Under Fire".
The talk is scheduled for March 2, from 11am to 11.45am at Abingdon Library.
Born in Makiivka, Donetsk region, Ms Larchenkova has been teaching English at Lyceum 124, Kharkiv, since graduating from Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2020.
She teaches children aged between 10 and 14 and also provides private lessons and prepared teaching materials through her channel.
The Oxford-Kharkiv Association, aims to strengthen the ties between Oxfordshire and Kharkiv, and arranges such events to foster personal and professional contacts and support various initiatives.
