The leader of a local kickboxing school for all ages is encouraging youngsters to take up the sport to boost their confidence and mental health.
Carl Davis, who runs Vale Kickboxing and Vale TKD Martial Arts School, has reached out to parents, raising awareness of the benefits of kickboxing, including heightened confidence, stronger mindsets and the opportunity to meet new people.
Vale Kickboxing runs classes for participants aged six and over, with separate teen and adult classes.

Mr Davis said: “In a world that can be very demanding and challenging, it’s really important that our children grow up with all the important life skills to tackle life and become the very best they can.
The martial arts school currently has fourteen England representative squad member and England Coach in their ranks and is Olympic standard, recognised via affiliation with the World Association Kickboxing Organisation.
