The position of deputy town clerk at Abingdon Town Council has been opened.
The role, paid between £45,441 and £49,498 per year, involves managing the administration team and overseeing council services like civic events and communications.
It also requires standing in for the town clerk when needed and undertaking the council’s day-to-day committee administration
Experience in committee administration is necessary, while previous public sector employment is favourable but not a necessity.
The successful applicant will be confident interacting with the public and councillors.
