DES Buckingham says he must keep his discipline on the touchline after receiving the first booking of his career.
Buckingham was shown a yellow card by referee Darren Drysdale in the 77th minute of Oxford United’s draw at home to Sky Bet League One leaders Portsmouth.
The score was level at 1-1 when Buckingham was booked, after his side were denied a free kick on the edge of the penalty area, when Tyler Goodrham was knocked off the ball with a forceful challenge.

Buckingham said: “It was the first booking in my professional career as a coach. I was very frustrated with some of the things, in terms of some of the things I thought were let go.
“I don’t think I did too much on the sideline, but the referee, I’m not going to argue with.
“I can’t speak about discipline for players, I need to make sure I’m disciplined on the side, and I’ve said that to the group.”
