An Oxford University college is set to hold a Holocaust memorial event later this month.

On January 28, at 5.30pm, Holocaust Memorial Day will be commemorated in Keble College Chapel.

In a collaborative effort with the Council for Christians and Jews, Oxford branch, they will reflect on the tragic events and remember those who lost their lives.

Performances will include music from Keble College Choir and OxfordShir, a local Jewish choir.

Michael Newman OBE, chief executive of The Association of Jewish Refugees, a charity which supports Holocaust survivors and their families, will speak at the memorial.

The university said "all are most welcome to attend".

Following the one-hour event, attendees are invited to socialize over drinks.
