Police are hunting for a teenage girl missing from home for the past two days.

Tessa Stephens, pictured, was last seen leaving her home in Deddington at 4pm on Wednesday.

The 13-year-old is described as white, of average build, and 5ft 3ins tall. She has links to Marston in Oxford and goes to the pupil referral unit at the Harlow Centre in Old Marston.

Pc Denise Trafford, the police's missing persons co-ordinator for Oxford, said: "Tessa hasn't been in contact with any of her friends or family since she was last seen on Wednesday and her family are very concerned for her welfare.

"I would urge her to get in touch with her family or the police as soon as possible on 08458 505505."
