A landlord has been fined £6,000 after pleading guilty at Oxford Magistrates' Court to two counts of breaching housing regulations.
Mohammed Bakhtiar was fined after council housing inspectors found a property he rented to a family of four in Oxford Road was unsafe and had exposed wires in the bathroom.
Mr Bakhtiar, who owns Oxford Lettings and Property Management in Cowley Road, was also order to pay £1,563 costs by magistrates.
