The Kennington and District United Church Choirs' recent concerts of Gilbert and Sullivan's HMS Pinafore at five venues in Oxfordshire raised the magnificent sum of £9,410.27.
It was divided between Mencap (£463), Christian Aid (£686.36), Oxsrad (£472.50) and Kennington Overseas Aid (£7,788.41).
Our audiences are always so generous and we would like to thank them for this splendid result.
Our next concert will be Handel's Messiah on October 5 at 3pm in the Holywell Music Room.
Entrance is free, with a collection for Oxpip (Oxford Parent Infant Project).
