Sir - Following the article by Matt Wilkinson on June 20, it appears that the Thames Valley Police force's inability to do anything about difficult crimes is because a triage system is in operation by the call centre operators, who decide for themselves which crimes to record, which ones to deal with immediately, which ones to deal with later, and which ones not at all.
Yes I have been speaking to one of them.
