The Government is believed to be reviewing the contract of the security firm in charge of Campsfield House.
Immigration minister Liam Byrne said he would look at GEO's contract in the wake of an escape by seven immigrants who were inmates at the Kidlington detention centre.
The escape on Thursday morning followed a riot at the facility on Saturday.
Three of the detainees - two Palestinians and one Afghan - are still on the run.
