Former student Michael Moritz and his partner, writer Harriet Heyman, have donated more than £25m to Christ Church, on the condition it goes towards Oxford University's massive fundraising drive.
The donation is the largest financial gift in the college's history and among the largest ever by a graduate of an Oxford college. The university recently launched a bid to raise £1.25bn.
