It goes to prove that those who govern us haven't a clue about what goes on in the real world.
I am referring to Communities Secretary Hazel Blears slagging off Blackbird Leys (Oxford Mail, April 5).
She should apologise to the residents there at once.
Since Labour MP Andrew Smith lives on the estate, I would have thought Ms Blears would have been better informed.
When she realised her gaffe, she tried to cover up by saying there were problems there due to Tory neglect.
One can see right through her and her fellow ministers. What planet do they live on?
