How many managers have Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council?
In your report of plans for a little bridge over a brook in Leafield Road, Cowley, Oxford (Oxford Mail, March 31), you quote the county council manager for bridges, Peter Brown.
Have we got one each for roads, trees, blue and green bins, schools, houses etc, one for every department, all paid more than £100,000 a year?
This would come to a tidy sum.
No wonder our council taxes and rent go up every year well above inflation.
