POLICE have cordoned off James Street, in East Oxford, after a street brawl left three men needing medical treatment.
Passers-by said five men assaulted three other men in an attack shortly after 6pm.
One was seen to have blood pouring from his face as he was treated by paramedics.
Eyewitness Julfar Kazzi said: "All I saw was a pile of men surrounding these two guys. They were just punching and kicking - I really thought someone was going to die."
