A BICESTER teenager who was stabbed at the weekend today remained in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The 19-year-old victim, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, on Sunday evening after being stabbed with a knife in the abdomen in Pembroke Way in Bicester.

He underwent surgery and today was still in a serious but stable condition, said police spokesman Toby Shergold.

A 19-year-old man arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent has been released on police bail.
