A hilarious ‘drunk’ road marking has been spotted in Oxfordshire.

A photograph of the inebriated yellow marking was shared to the Spotted Witney Facebook page, with the poster writing: “All that money we pay in council tax and they paint men that look drunk".

Painted in the shape of a walking person, the right leg of the road marking makes it look as if it is intoxicated.

Members of the Facebook group were quick to make jokes about the road marking.

Andy Fletcher said: “That’s how we looked in Witney back in the 90s it’s a warning sign that your approaching a drunk person, please step over cautiously!!!”

Stan Partlett jovially pointed out the work looked like it was done by Banksy.

“Know his work anywhere,” he wrote.
