Boxing Day walks in Oxfordshire 

Radley Lakes / Thrupp Lake Trail

If you're looking for a scenic stroll this Boxing day, Radley Lakes comes out on top according to TripAdvisor reviews.

Located between Radley and Abingdon, the lakes have plenty of walking picturesque footpaths to explore.

It is a popular dog-walking area but owners are advised to keep their pooches on a leash.

Thames Path National Park

Coming in second, the Thames Path National Park should be on your to-do list this festive season if it's not already. 

The trail follows the River Thames from its source near Kemble in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier at Charlton, South East London.

Aston Rowant Discovery Trail

If you're looking for a wander this festive season, you just need to take one look at the TripAdvisor reviews of the Aston Rowant Discovery Trail. 

The trail's circular route is 5.3 miles but if you're looking for a nice pub lunch or a night stay, the pub and hotel are 6.2 miles instead.

Treasure Trails

For a wander with a difference, why not try the Treasure trails in Henley-on-Thames?

The two-mile loop takes about two hours to complete and there's even more fun to be had with a detective mystery tour.

The trail is wheelchair accessible and dog-friendly.
