Myra Maycock (Oxford Mail, December 3) comments on the replacement of the bus shelter at Garden City, Kidlington.
Unfortunately, the enclosed brick design of the original shelter resulted in misuse by young people at night, secure in the knowledge they could not easily be observed.
Reluctantly, therefore, the parish council decided to replace the shelter with a high-visibility glass design to discourage inappropriate activities.
