Police and ambulance crews were called to a four-vehicle collision on the A34 near Bicester today.
The crash happened shortly after midday on the A34 northbound, between the turning for Weston-on-the-Green and junction nine of the M40. A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said one person suffered leg injuries after being trapped in a vehicle.
He was unable to confirm if anyone else was injured. Traffic was diverted on to the A40 but there were extensive tailbacks and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
