Residents at Wood Farm in Oxford have put up a spirited fight for traffic lights at the junction of Wood Farm Road and The Slade which, they say, is dangerous.
Oxfordshire County Council has turned down their requests.
But our advice to them is to keep fighting. There are plenty of examples of people power winning in the end.
