It was bad enough driving at 101mph on Oxford's Eastern Bypass.
But to compound his offence, Thomas Moser, a high-flyer at BMW, lied about it, too, enlisting his teenage son to take the blame.
Sadly for him, the police were smarter and rumbled him.
We hope he reflects on his stupidity during his six weeks in jail.
