A WOMAN from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash between a car and a Tesco lorry on Oxford ring road.
The smash happened between 2am and 3am this morning on the Eastern Bypass near the Green Road Roundabout at Headington.
Oxford Mail reader Becca Godwin, who took these photos, said she believed the female driver of the car had driven into the back of the lorry and had subsequently been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
It is understood that no one was hurt in the crash.
Thames Valley Police confirmed this afternoon that it was called to a 'damage-only' collision in the area.
Spokesman Kieran Bushnell also confirmed that a 33-year-old woman from Oxford was arrested 'on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level was above the limit'.
