ACADEMIC Professor Patricia Fara will host a talk on the impact of the First World War at a time when some women were given the right to vote.
The professor will give the talk 'A Lab of One’s Own: Science and Suffrage in the First World War' at The Weston Library on July 27 between 5pm and 6pm.
She will commemorate both anniversaries in 1918 by revealing the untold lives of female scientists, doctors and engineers who helped to win the War.
Admission is free for the public talk and booking is recommended.
