BANBURY MAGISTRATES

AMANDA LEE, 48, of Little Blenheim, Yarnton, was convicted of speeding by driving at a speed exceeding 70 mph on the A34 southbound, Hinksey on November 11. She was fined £577 and must pay a victim surcharge of £57 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 14 days.

OLIVER WARD, 24, of Enstone Road, Westcote Barton, Chipping Norton, was convicted of speeding by driving 63 mph in a 50 mph area at the Oxford Eastern-bypass on October 5. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

CLIVE STEWART UPTON, 56, of Corndell Gardens, Witney, was convicted of speeding by driving 84 mph in a 50 mph at the M4 near Hurst on October 15. He was fined £1,033 and must pay a victim surcharge of £103 and court costs of £85 and he was disqualified from driving for 21 days.

THOMAS FLETCHER, 28, of Witney Road, Southmoor, Abingdon, admitted driving above the legal drug limit for cocaine and driving without due care on attention on February 9 at Banbury. Had 457 ug of the drug in his system. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 28 months.

CHRISTOPHER SINCLAIR, 53, of Somerton Road, Upper Heyford, admitted stealing alcohol valued at £196.55 on April 26 and alcohol valued at £221 on April 23 and alcohol valued at £258 on April 21, all from Sainsbury’s, Banbury. He was jailed for eight weeks and must pay compensation totalling £479.

MICHAEL YOUNG, 30, of Welch Way, Witney, was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against a man on September 7 at Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. He was made subject to a community order to include 240 hours of unpaid work and must pay compensation of £2,500, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £620.

IZABELA CECKOWSKA, 30, of Manor Road, Banbury, admitted stealing clothing valued at £16 from Sainsbury’s, Banbury, as well as perfumes valued at £113 from Debenhams, Castle Quay, Banbury on March 7. She was made subject to a community order to include 60 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

STEVEN BUTLER, 30, of Miller Road, Banbury, was convicted of entering premises in contravention of a closure order at Marlborough Road Banbury, on November 13. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

LESTER MCCALLA, 40, of Owens Way, Oxford, admitted possessing a quantity of cocaine in Oxford on May 22. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

SAMREEN ALVI, 42, of Essex Street, Oxford, was convicted of failing to provide police with information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between December 1 and December 29. Fined £660, victim surcharge £66 and costs £85. Six penalty points.

PAUL CARLTON BEST, 61, of Thornley Close, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to provide police with information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between November 9 and December 7. Fined £660, victim surcharge £66 and costs £85. Six penalty points.

MONICA PRADO DA-COSTA, 39, of Hubble Close, Oxford, was convicted of failing to provide police with information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between November 2 and November 3. Fined £660, victim surcharge £66 and costs £85. Six penalty points.

JOSHUA NICHOLAS DAVIES, 20, of St Mary's, Wantage, was convicted of driving at 43mph in Lambourn Road, Speen, a 30mph zone, on October 3. Fined £440, victim surcharge £44 and costs £85. Five penalty points.

SAMUEL DAVIES, 22, of Riders Way, Chinnor, was convicted of driving at 36mph on the A40 High Wycombe Road, High Wycombe, a 30mph zone, on October 27. Fined £215, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Four penalty points.
