AUTHOR Caitlin Davies is to give a talk at Blackwell’s on her new book Bad Girls.
The study explores the history of a century of women, punishment and crime in HM Prison Holloway.
The talk takes place at the Broad Street store on Wednesday, May 30 at 7pm.
First built in 1852 as a House of Correction, Holloway’s women have come from all corners of the UK.
In Bad Girls Ms Davies tells their stories and shows how women have been treated over more than a century. The author is a novelist and teacher. Tickets cost £5.
