'AMERIPOLITAN' singer songwriter Ags Connolly gave Oxford pubgoers a taste of the Wild West this weekend – West Oxfordshire, that is.
The Oxford music scene veteran, who this year released his second album Nothin' Unexpected, played with Kurt Hamilton at the first Day of the Deadbeats festival at Iffley's famous Isis Farmhouse pub in the Saturday sunshine.
The pub, which was taken over by new owners last year, was brought to life throughout the afternoon with performances from ten local acts including The Deadbeat Apostles who organised the event.
Also joining the fun were the Great Western Tears, Francis Pugh and the Whisky Singers, The Shapes and Beard of Destiny.
Tacobandits dished up 'delicious Mexican street food with an Oxford twist' while children had faces painted in the Mexican 'sugar skull' style.
