AN ENTIRE road near Oxford was blocked off by a lorry which apparently got stuck trying to follow its sat nav.
The Eddie Stobart vehicle got wedged across Sandy Lane, Kidlington, its back end stuck in a roadside ditch.
Police helped by closing the road and redirecting traffic.
These pictures were tweeted out by Oxford Mail reader Ahad Ghanbary who encountered the rural scene.
He said the driver had encountered a 'sat nav problem'.
Mr Ghanbary said the driver had been led down Sandy Lane by his sat nav, only to realise a small rural bridge he was about to cross had a three-tonne weight limit.
Forced to go back, the driver then got stuck trying to make a U-turn.
It the latest in a string of major lorry accidents on Oxfordshire's roads in recent weeks.
On March 18 a lorry crash off a flyover on Oxford Eastern Bypass at Cowley and landed on the road below.
The barrier there is still being repaired.
On Monday the M40 had to be closed when a lorry crashed onto its side spilling 28 tonnes of salt across the road.
