A FOOTBALL club has been forced to close one of its pitches because of moles and dog-fouling.

Marston Saints Football Club said it had taken the action until the pitch ‘can be made safe’.

The field, off Horseman Close, Old Marston has been blighted by moles, dog-digging and dog-fouling.

Whilst it is closed, traps have been set up to catch moles inside and outside of orange fencing.

The football club has warned dog walkers not to let their dogs near the traps because they could pose a danger to pets.
