THIS week's snow theme was all about the white stuff but we couldn't resist this shot by Sara Buck that left us seeing, but not feeling, blue.

The photograph captures a series of garden lights and tricks the eye like an optical illusion.

Despite looking at a frame full of white snow every colour in the image is actually a different shade of blue, from indigo to deepest navy.

There were no shortage of similarly creative snow snaps from Camera Club members who captured everything from colourful figures having fun to golden swirling snow flakes caught in a the light from a nearby house.

As well as colours we also got a wide array of textures with our snowfall.

Perhaps the finest example was Gordon Craig's photo of a solid blanket of snow which had gently rippled as a single piece next to a hedgerow near Chipping Norton.

We also saw the beginnings of spring peaking through the edges of some of the pictures, Mandy Dickinson photographed a puppy quite literally bounding between seasons as he leapt from snow to green grass covered with a blanket of snowdrops.

Next week we are hoping our theme 'three's the magic number' adds up to another collection of stunning shots.

Good luck to members and we look forward to seeing what you have to offer.
