"Recently, we’ve noticed that more and more customers are taking advantage of our great breakfast service, with a massive 200 per cent increase in orders compared to last year.”

Speaking of the results Operations Manager Fred Turner at The Rusty Bicycle added: “Working with Deliveroo has been great, they really take the pressure off deliveries at our end and leave us to do what is important, cook the food.

"Since we joined Deliveroo we have seen our output go up considerably as we have been able to reach consumers we could not reach before.”

There are more than 140 Deliveroo workers across Oxford, according to the firm, with most of these employed as drivers.
