Broken down van causing heavy traffic on A34
A BROKEN down van caused delays on the A34 this evening.
The northbound carriageway was partially blocked near Peartree Interchange.
This affected traffic between the junction of the A423 Southern By-Pass Road and Hinksey Hill and where the A34 meets the A44 Woodstock Road.
Drivers were advised to expect 40 minute delays.
As of 8pm, the van had been cleared and traffic was returning to normal.
Elsewhere there were also delays on the Botley Road leaving Oxford.
