BEER fans will be able to get their hands round a free taster today as craft brewer BrewDog announced it is handing out free beer.
The beer giant, which opened in Cowley Road in September, is inviting people to head along to taste its new beer: Indie Pale Ale.
The brewer wants its followers to tag a friend on Twitter @BrewDog or comment on the brewery's Facebook page Indie Ale posts alongside the hashtag #DrinkIndie before midnight.
Both friends will then receive a free half-pint of Indie Pale Ale at BrewDog Oxford by showing the proof to bar staff on your phone.
BrewDog cofounder James Watt said: "Indie Pale Ale will mark the craft beer awakening of thousands of people who are yet to discover the awesome power of independent craft beer.
"This is for everyone who thinks they don’t like beer, for those who’ve been bamboozled by mega breweries insisting beer is just fizzy, yellow lager, for those too shy to ask for something different.
"This is the first beer of the rest of your life. Toast your freedom, and be transformed."
