Volunteers clean up the streets of Jericho earlier this year
A NEW year cleaning blitz has been organised to tidy up Jericho.
Volunteers have been asked to give up a couple of hours of their time to tidy the area and pick up litter.
Equipment will be provided and there will be a free cup of tea of coffee for those who take part.
Residents did a similar clean up operation in July after becoming concerned the area was 'dirty' following the summer months.
The group will meet at 10am on Saturday January 6 but volunteers can come to the community centre and take part anytime before midday.
