OXFORD'S Orinoco 'scrapstore' is looking for more volunteers as it expands its operation.

The charity, which rescues home waste and landfill and offers it as building and art supplies, is looking for new helpers as well as a new store manager to start in January.

In a statement it said it was planning a 'significant redevelopment' of its strategy and business model and hoping to 'respond to the potential opened up by the redesign of the Bullingdon Community Centre', where it is based.

It said both voluntary and paid roles offer 'an excellent opportunity' to get involved in reuse and recycling.
