POLICE are appealing for witnesses after youths hurled an object from a roof top car park.
The group of youngsters aged between 12 and 14 threw the object from the top of Sainsbury's car park onto Pioneer Quare in Bicester about 11.50am on Saturday.
It landed in front of the walkway for Wildwood restaurant and Sports Direct.
Thames Valley Police launched to appeal today in connection with the criminal damage with intent to endanger life.
Investigating officer, PC Zoe Shuttleworth from Bicester police station said: "Members of the public walking in Pioneer Square at the time of the incident and near to where the article landed.
"This incident could have potentially seriously injured someone - it is lucky no one was hurt.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the offence and who may have any information to call 101 quoting incident reference 43170275670 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.”
