DRIVERS again faced long delays right across the city as queues backed up heading in to rush hour.
It comes as the second day of the improvement works getting underway at Folly Bridge and closing one lane out of the city.
Reports showed congestion backing up both ways on the Botley Road and on to Hollybush Row and many other routes out of the city congested.
The A34 was also feeling the pressure as queues stacked up both northbound past the city, as well as at Junction 9 of the M40.
Stagecoach Oxford tweeted about the delays and said most its services were experiencing delays of up to 40 minutes.
