FAMILIES battling dementia will come together to pen their own tunes.
Initiative Turtle Song will come to Cowley’s Templars Square Shopping Centre on Friday.
The workshop, organised by groups Turtle Key Arts, English Touring Opera and the Royal College of Music, will see people with dementia write songs with their carers. It comes as part of Dementia Awareness Week, which comes to an end on Sunday, and will be held from 3pm at Bank Court Chambers.
