RAIL passengers were hit by travel disruption this afternoon after 'urgent repairs' on the tracks near Kingham, Oxfordshire.
National Rail said that because of the repair work being carried out between Oxford and Worcester Shrub Hill some lines experienced cancellations and delays to Great Western Railways services.
Rail replacement ran between Oxford and Worcester, calling at intermediate stations.

Disruption was set to last until 5pm after the lines re-opened at about 4.30pm.
