A PENSIONER has been spotted driving the wrong way on the A34.
The woman in her 70s was seen steering her vehicle northbound while in the southbound carriageway of the A34, near Milton.
About 15 onlookers reported the incident to officers on Saturday at about 2.55pm, Thames Valley Police confirmed.
Force spokesman Jack Abell said the woman had driven for about half-a-mile before officers caught a glimpse of her, stopping her between the Milton and Chilton Interchanges.
He said he did not have details where the driver was travelling, adding: “Officers attended the scene and located the vehicle and ensured it turned around in the correct direction.”
No arrests were made but the driver was reported to court for driving without due care and attention.
The DVLA has also been told about the woman's driving, Mr Abell said.
