Journalists at the Oxford Mail, Oxford Times and sister titles are up for a grand total of seven top accolades in the Regional Press Awards.
The awards celebrate the best of British regional and local newspaper journalism over the course of 2016 in print, online and other platforms.
Some 144 individuals and brands have been nominated across 24 categories recognising individual reporters and photographers, front-page scoops, production and digital skills.

Young Journalist of the Year: Hannah Somerville
Business and Finance Journalist of the Year: Gill Oliver
Environment Journalist of the Year: Pete Hughes
Science and Education Journalist of the Year: Luke Sproule
Daily/Sunday Newspaper (below 20,000): Oxford Mail
Weekly Newspaper (below 15,000): Oxford Times
Weekly Newspaper (below 15,000): Herald Series
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel, London, on May 19.
