Adam Chambers, 29, of Gibbs Crescent, Oxford, was convicted in his absence of sending messages which were grossly offensive or of indecent, obscene or menacing character in Bicester on August 19 last year. Admitting failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on December 22 last year and January 27. Jailed for 10 weeks and made subject to a restraining order. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Duncan Cleaver, 35, of Glanville Gardens, Banbury, admitted stealing £172-worth of perfume from Debenhams, in Castle Quay, Banbury, on January 28. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £172 compensation, £40 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Barry Sanders, 40, of Town Centre House, Southam Road, Banbury, admitted beating Amanda Henley-Pearce by beating her in The Slade, Oxford, on August 16 last year. Handed a 22-week sentence, suspended for 24 months, with a 31-day programme requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Made subject to a restraining order, ordered to pay £200 compensation, a £115 victim surcharge and £50 costs.

Jacqueline Carruthers, 47, of Woodgreen Avenue, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Portland Road, Milcombe, on January 14. Had 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

Shane Faulkner, 40, of Waterford Road, Madley Park, Witney, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Witney on January 15. Also admitted causing £78-worth of damage to a police cell at Abingdon Police Station, Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on the same date. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge. Fined £133 and ordered to pay £78 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Graham, 39, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted stealing two bronze statues worth £1,790 from The Whitehall, High Street, Oxford, on January 24. Handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £1,860 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Wesley Jacob, 39, of Windmill Road, Headington, admitted stealing a packet of lamb chops worth £4.50 from Sainsbury's in London Road, Headington, on January 31. Handed a community order with a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement. Also ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

Benjamin Mead, 20, of Oak Close, Bicester, admitted driving in West Street, Bicester, while unfit to drive through drugs on December 8 last year. Fined £220 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Handed a 12-month driving ban.

James Pearson, 40, of The Glebe, Culham, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Abingdon Police Station, Colwell Drive, Abingdon, on November 18 last year. Also admitted failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on December 5 last year. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ian Michael Davies, 48, of Glebe Road, Didcot, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Bath Street, Abingdon, on January 14. Also admitted wilfully obstructing a police constable in the execution of their duty on the same date. Fined £280. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

Jordan Luke Davies, 21, of Halse Water, Didcot, admitted assaulting David Baptiste in Bath Street, Abingdon, on January 14. Also admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty on the same date in the same location. Community order made. Defendant must be under curfew for two months. Ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.

Ginnette Louise Woodward, 44, of Asquith Road, Oxford, admitted stealing two handbags to the value of £139.99 belonging to TK Maxx on October 16 2016 in Oxford. Fined £80. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85.

James Myers, 68, of Whitecross, Wootton, Abingdon, admitted making indecent photographs, namely 13 still images and one video image on an Omega hard drive of a child on November 25 2015 or before in Wootton. Also admitted making an indecent photograph namely one still category B image of a child on the same date in the same location. Myers admitted making an indecent photograph, namely 16 indecent photographs, nine still images and seven video images on an Omega hard drive of a child on the same date in the same location. Community order made. Defendant must undergo a rehabilitation activity requirement for 40 days. Sexual harm prevention order made on conviction for five years. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85. Computer equipment seized by the police to be forfeited and destroyed.

Zabair Hussain, 33, of Sutton Road, Headington, admitted driving a BMW X5 while disqualified in Oxford on January 14. Sentenced to eight weeks in prison suspended for 12 months. Also admitted using a motor vehicle in a public place without third party insurance. Defendant ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.
