SHORT stories by two leading authors will be read aloud at an evening session at Blackwell’s Bookshop in Oxford.
On Tuesday stories by Kate Hamer, whose debut The Red Coat was shortlisted for the 2015 Costa First Novel Award, and multi-award-nominated Tessa Hadley, will be read out.
Their stories will be read by actresses Julie Mayhew and Melissa Berry and there will be a question-and-answer session afterwards.
The event, costing £5, will be held in the Norrington Room at the Broad Street store and runs from 7pm to 9.30pm.
