Police are appealing for witnesses after a man on a pushbike collided with a 72-year old before pushing him into a fence and spitting in his face.

The incident happened at about 2.40pm on Friday when the elderly victim was walking along a path connecting Queens Avenue to George Street near Bicester Leisure Centre.

Another male on a pushbike was cycling in the opposite direction before he sweved on to his path and collided with him. He then came off his bike.
