A MAN was pushed off his bike and threatened with a knife in Oxford in what police are treating as a racially-aggravated incident.
At about 8.20pm on Monday, November 21 the victim, a 23-year-old man, was cycling along Marston Road when he was pushed over and threatened by three men. Racist comments were made.
The first offender was black and riding a Carrera racing bike. The other two were white, one on a racing bike and another on a mountain bike.
Investigating officer PC Rob Clayson, from Cowley Police Station, said: “This was obviously a very upsetting and concerning incident for the victim.
“I am encouraging anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch by calling the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.”
