AN Oxford University professor is to give a talk on the growing problem of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Prof Angela Brueggemann of the Nuffield Department of Medicine will give the talk on Thursday at the Museum of the History of Science.
Prof Brueggemann will explain how bacteria resistant to antibiotics were discovered shortly after penicillin was licensed.
The free lecture at the museum in Broad Street will start at 6.30pm.
