PREPARED: Joe McManners will cycle through the French mountains
A city councillor is enjoying warm weather training in the South of France ahead of a charity bike ride to raise money for Wood Farm Youth Centre.
Joe McManners has completed 80km on his racing bike in preparation for a gruelling 171km one-day cycle ride in the mountainous Ardeche region of southern France.
All money raised will go towards buying equipment for the new Wood Farm Youth centre in Titup Hall Drive.
Donations can also be made directly into the youth centre Co-op bank account - sort code 089299 account number 6508112900.
