DRIVERS faced severe delays in Oxford due to a two-car crash that sparked traffic tailbacks.
Thames Valley Police was called at 3.20pm to the crash, which partially blocked the road.
It is not yet clear where exactly the crash happened on the road, which stretches from the city centre into North Oxford.
Oxford Bus Company said that main routes out of the city were "severely congested".

Michelle Archer, spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service, said crews were called at 3.41pm and treated two patients who did not need to be taken to hospital.
